Guerilla filmmaking is a new technique that has been used frequently within the independent filmmaking community due to it's speed and cost effectiveness. Breaking down this technique is easy and partaking is even easier.

Run and Gun is another common name for this technique. Tripods are not commonly used and everything is shot handheld either through a stabiliser or steady cam. All audio is recorded into the camera or on a songle recorder for extra speed in editing.

Shots are often long and close to the action creating a very stylistic effect. The script is also not written for the setting and setting are usually found at short notice. How you use your set will be make or break. You just need to be creative, stick to a few lenses and be different with your shots and script.
