The Story of Twelve Grams
Following the story of 2 gang members from opposing gangs that unite to create the biggest drug empire in the UK. However as they grow so does the amount of rivals in the drug trade creating difficulties for the characters. Growing demands combined with clashes between each gang create problems as tensions rise. How will they deal with the pressure and resolve the issues between their gangs?
DIRECTOR : FELIX GIBBONS
Aged 17 Felix is considered to be one of the best Young directors in this country with work such as his adaptation of the Music Video ‘Happy’ and his first major short film ‘Eiriu’. However, it was his latest film ‘Twelve Grams’ that gave him all the limelight and only seemed to improve his potential as a filmmaker. Raised in Essex he choses to use his local area as the major influence for his work which can be clearly seen in the film ‘Twelve Grams’. His use of story telling when it comes down to editing is second to none and has been considered a prodigy for this field of work.
DIRECTOR : MATT CONLEY
Also aged 17 Matt has been noticably unrecognised due to his lack of film work. With Matt quality comes well before quantity providing special effects for ‘Eiriu’ as well as directing his own short film ‘Drunk’ which received positive reviews however like his co-director didn’t receive the attention that was deserved when they worked on ‘Eiriu’. Another short directed by Matt named ‘Whole lot of loving’ gained him the respect that was deserved with his unique story telling gaining him Internet attention. The buzz for Matt had clearly begun.
ACTOR : JACQUES PIERRE LAMBERT
With this being his first major acting job, Jacques, 18, has worked as background extras in films such as Skyfall & Kingsmen: Secret Service. He has also done some small Comercials across Europe. At this years Indie Film awards he has been nominated for Best New Actor for his main role in this film.
ACTOR: AARON MARSHALL
This is just another film to add to his collection, an indie film veteran at the age of 17 Aaron is dominating the indie scene as one of the best actors on an affordable budget. Not only does he bring professionalism but a range of styles and characters. After 3 nominations at the Indie Film Awards and 0 wins he goes up against his co-star looking like a certain win for the film.
